Rope Task were contacted by Freudenberg, a global technology group supplying filtration systems to high tech manufacturing plants.

The problem they had was the replacement of high-level filters to the ducting systems within the Jaguar Land Rover paint shop. This was not possible using scaffold or MEWP access machines due to conveyor track systems that transport vehicles through the paint shop process.

Rope Task provided a thorough risk assessment and method statement solution to access the high-level steel beams. This was accepted by the client and we supplied a team of experienced rope access technicians to complete the works.

Using experienced operatives on site was essential in carrying out these works safely, using our 23 years’ experience in technical rope access we completed the task in an efficient timescale to the delight of the customer. Fruedenberg were especially impressed with the non-intrusive aspect of our work, our teams completed the works with no disruption to any of the Fruedenberg team or the Jaguar Land Rover maintenance team. This allowed them to continue with other essential works that required their attention. It was mentioned that this would not have been possible if scaffold access would have been used, which would have impacted on a number of the Jaguar Land Rover maintenance team.

Due to the success of these works Fruedenberg have already spoken to us about other works that they see would be best suited to our rope access solutions.

A safe, efficient and professional approach to all site work has always been the priority for Rope Task and this has proved again that we offer a great solution to difficult access problems for our customers.
