Precision Rope Access Solutions at Beetham Tower, Deansgate, Manchester

Rope Task completed a challenging project at Beetham Tower, the tallest in Manchester at the time. Also known as Hilton Manchester, the skyscraper features a mix of hotel and residential spaces. Due to its height and complex structure, traditional access methods were not viable. Our team was engaged to assist with high-level glass replacements and the install of stitch plates to secure the glass, across multiple elevations using advanced rope access techniques.

Replacing glass at such heights requires meticulous planning and execution. Our team worked closely with glazing specialists to lift, position, and install replacement panels with minimal disruption. Safety remained paramount, with strict adherence to industry best practices and site-specific risk assessments.

Given the building’s mixed-use nature, reducing disruption to residents and hotel operations was crucial. Our efficient approach ensured that all replacements were completed on schedule.

Rope Task specialise in delivering tailored rope access solutions for complex urban environments. Our expertise in high-rise maintenance and remedial works enables us to tackle projects where conventional access methods fall short.
